Experience Driven Consulting

Home

Profit-Chain Consulting brings a unique blend of deep experience and practical knowledge to every client. Which is the reason clients hire consultants: to bring unique expertise that cannot be focused on the project from internal personnel. Your company may not have the requisite experience or you may not be able to dedicate the people to the project, whatever the reason, you want the consulting experience to be positive:

bulletDeliver expected results (quality, timing, benefits, etc.)
bulletWork within established company norms and policies (no surprises)
bulletKeep within budget expectations

These are some of the reasons why executives may hesitate to hire consultants. Our approach to helping you succeed is different:

bulletIncremental (small) steps throughout the project
bulletWe work hard to thoroughly understand your objective
bulletProjects staffed by 20+ year consulting veterans
bulletOur firm does not have an incentive to bring in junior staff - we don't have any!

For other consulting firms (particularly those employing consultants), the most senior people tend to spend most of their time selling and managing the firm. They make money by "leveraging" their time down to more junior consultants who actually do the consulting work. This is a leverage model where you pay more for senior people, but see them infrequently and then pay less for junior consultants who do the work.

We see the low "leverage model" as the success ingredient that many firms miss: they focus on making projects larger than the needed in order to keep junior people busy. Profit-Chain has no lower level consultants on staff so we have no interest in large, complex projects well suited to the major firms.

We continue to build our reputation and practice one client and success at a time.

Give us a call and experience the difference!
